Every item we sell is guaranteed 100% authentic. This page explains how we verify authenticity before any bag is listed on our Site.
1. Our Authentication Process
Before a bag is listed for sale, it goes through a multi-step authentication process carried out by our in-house team of experts, who examine each item against brand-specific reference points, including:
- Materials, leather grain, and stitching
- Hardware, engravings, and logo detailing
- Serial numbers, date codes, and interior labeling
- Craftsmanship and construction consistent with the brand and production era
- Original packaging and accessories, where available
For select items, we also use independent third-party authentication technology — such as Entrupy and Legit App — as an additional verification layer alongside our own expert assessment. These tools are used at our discretion, typically for items where an extra layer of technology-based verification adds value, and their results are reviewed together with our team’s own expertise before a final decision is made.
An item is only listed for sale once it has passed our authentication process. If an item does not pass, it is not published on the Site and is returned to the seller or not accepted into inventory.
2. What “100% Authentic” Means
Our authenticity guarantee means that every item listed on our Site has been individually inspected and assessed as genuine according to our process described above, using a combination of expert human review and, where applied, third-party verification technology. No item is listed based on the seller’s word alone.
